It's been two steps forward, one step back all week. I once decided to prove I was still young and reckless by popping very fast on a non-BMX bike over a six foot pile of packed dirt. Bike disengaged from dirt, I disengaged from bike, swear it must have looked like a cartoon. We all came down perfectly balanced and vertical except my seat missed the bike seat. The first thing I did was look to be sure nobody saw me. Then I started to laugh. Bleeding was in there somewhere, but nothing serious. I shambled around for a week afterward.
