I often wonder how police officers get 'closure' on the terrible things they see or have to work with/against. Or if not 'closure' maybe some kind of reconciliation. I would think that apprehension of the 'bad guy' isn't a full reconciliation, nor would even a stiff sentence really reconcile things in some cases.
